Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), Product<\/h3>\n

AIP:\u00a0The AIP forms the basic element of the Aeronautical Information Products. It contains aeronautical information of a permanent nature and temporary changes to this information of long duration. It is the task of each AIS to provide a comprehensive document, to maintain it up to date and to make it simple to use.<\/p>\n

AIP Amendments:\u00a0AIP Amendments are issued whenever new information necessitates a permanent change or addition to the information already contained in the AIP<\/p>\n

AIP Supplements:\u00a0Temporary changes of long duration (more than three months) or changes requiring the issuance of extensive text and\/or graphics which affect the contents of an AIP are published and distributed as AIP Supplements.<\/p>\n

Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC):\u00a0Provided for the possible need to distribute information that does not qualify for inclusion in the AIP or in NOTAM, Annex 15 includes specifications for Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC).
